SAS Christmas Flight

SAS Christmas Flight
The SAS Christmas Flight (SAS Julefly) is a 40-year humanitarian tradition driven by the dedication of SAS employees. Since 1986, the initiative has delivered essential aid to vulnerable communities across Europe.
Since 2003, efforts have focused on Tallinn, Estonia—especially the Kopli district—where ongoing support has helped improve living conditions for families and children. Early projects included renovating a former church into an orphanage, laying the groundwork for long-term assistance.
Today, the Christmas Flight is a year-round, employee-led effort supporting more than 20 orphanages and centers, including the Tabita Center in Ogre, Latvia, and families affected by the war in Ukraine.
What began as a single flight of goodwill has grown into a lasting commitment to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
