This is a smart, environmentally friendly and affordable candle that works with regular cooking oil. The light is made of 100% degradable material and emits very little carbon dioxide.

The oil candle is powered by vegetable oil that you pour directly into the candle. Rapeseed oil is the lightest in colour, but both olive oil and sunflower oil work equally well. One tablespoon of oil is enough for the candle to burn for approximately 7 hours.

If the candle goes out because the wick has burnt down, just pull the wick up a little, cut off the burnt part and light again. The wick lasts for around 300 hours, and can be easily replaced if necessary.
