Children and cancer are two words that do not belong together. Nevertheless, these words form the most common cause of death for children over the age of 1 in Denmark. But there is hope. Thanks to successful research, 6 out of 7 children affected by cancer in Denmark now survive. Together we’ve come so far. But we must never stop fighting. We want all children to survive and experience fewer late effects.
